Description
This one started out as a floor inlay, then due to my penchant for ever-increasing complexity, became a wall hanging. Gentleman is Scottish, Lady is Welsh, hence the theme. 111 hours and 125+ painstakingly contoured bits of wood went into this piece.
As with the majority of my current pieces, this is a one-of-a-kind work. All wall art is individually commissioned and made of exotic woods. No stains or dies are ever used, just the pure colors and textures of the wood.
Constructed of: Red Heart, Canary Wood, Bloodwood, Ribboned Maple, Lignum Vitae, Ebony, Patagonian Myrtle
