A commission for a client on the West Coast. First triptych, be wise about where you place tiny pieces of sunset, else said pieces may be flung about when final cuts are made. That’s what I learned doing this one.
As with the majority of my current pieces, this is a one-of-a-kind work. All wall art is individually commissioned and made of exotic woods. No stains or dies are ever used, just the pure colors and textures of the wood.
This piece is constructed of: Maple, Walnut, Padauk, Bloodwood, Purple Heart, Ebony and Osage.
